How to Cancel a User Invitation

If you've invited someone to join your organisation but need to revoke that invitation before they've verified their account, you can cancel the invitation. This permanently removes the unverified user from the system.

• You must be an Organisation Administrator to cancel user invitations
• The user must be unverified (they haven't completed mobile verification yet)
• Once cancelled, the invitation cannot be recovered -- you'll need to create a new invitation if you want to invite them again

1. From the sidebar, select My Organization

2. Click the Members tab (the third tab at the top of the screen)

3. Locate the unverified user in the members table. Unverified users are marked with ***unverified displayed next to their name

4. Click the kebab menu icon (⋮) on the right side of that user's row

5. Select Cancel invitation from the dropdown menu

6. The invitation is cancelled immediately -- no confirmation dialog appears

7. The members table automatically refreshes, and the cancelled user no longer appears in the list

• The user's authentication record is permanently deleted from the system
• An audit log entry "Admin canceled user invite" appears in your organisation's Log tab
• Any invitation SMS or email they received is no longer valid
• If you need to invite this person again, you'll need to create a completely new invitation using Invite user

• No undo: Cancelling an invitation is immediate and cannot be undone. Make sure you're canceling the correct user
• Check verification status carefully: Only unverified users show the cancel option. If you don't see "Cancel invitation" in the kebab menu, the user has already verified their mobile number
• Silent operation: There's no confirmation message when you cancel an invitation -- the only feedback is that the user disappears from the table
• Alternative actions: For unverified users, you can also choose Resend invitation from the same kebab menu if you'd rather send the invitation again instead of canceling
