How do I access one of my teams

CAREFUL organises clinical work into teams. You can access any team you're a member of through the sidebar navigation, allowing you to view patients, manage actions, and collaborate with team members.

• You must be a member of at least one team to see team links in the sidebar
• If you're an Administrator, you can view all teams in your organisation even if you're not a member

1. Look at the left-hand sidebar -- you'll see a navigation item labelled Teams with a stethoscope icon
2. Click on Teams to expand the accordion
   • The accordion opens with a smooth animation
   • A chevron icon rotates to indicate the expanded state
3. You'll now see a list of your teams:
   • All teams appears at the top (with a users icon) -- this takes you to the Teams overview page
   • Individual team names are listed below in alphabetical order
   • Each team has a coloured shorthand badge (2-3 letters) before its name
   • If a team has pending referrals, you'll see a numbered badge next to the team name
   • If team chat is enabled and you have unread messages, a message count badge appears
4. Click on the name of the team you want to access
   • You're taken to that team's detail view
   • The team link becomes highlighted with a "selected" style
   • The default view shows the Patients tab

The team detail view has multiple tabs: Patients, Chat (if enabled), Actions, Members, Referrals, and Log.

From the Teams overview page:

1. Click Teams in the sidebar to expand the accordion
2. Click All teams at the top of the accordion
3. You'll see a dropdown button at the top of the page that says Select a team...
4. Click the dropdown to see your teams listed with stethoscope icons
5. Select the team you want to access from the dropdown

You can also click on team names in the table that appears on the Teams overview page. Teams you can access are clickable; teams you don't have permission to view appear greyed out and disabled.

• If you only belong to one team, CAREFUL automatically navigates to it when you click Teams
• The sidebar accordion stays expanded once you open it, making it quick to switch between teams
• Team names that are very long will be truncated with an ellipsis (...) in the sidebar
• Administrators see all organisation teams in the list, even those they're not members of
• The coloured shorthand badges help you quickly identify teams at a glance -- each team has a unique colour based on its ID
